Happy New Year!

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone's holidays were fun filled and restful all at the same time.  I would like to thank everyone for all the amazing gifts I received this year for Christmas from the class.  I appreciate them all very much.  We have a very busy next few weeks before the next school break in February.  In language arts we are starting our Holocaust unit that will focus on a number of literature circles based from six different novels.  We also are starting a new science unit on the earth's crust and resources.  All while ploughing ahead in our mathematics curriculum along with the other subjects around the pod.  While all this important learning is going on we will also have our basketball teams, drumming groups, and other school groups doing their part to keep your lives as busy as possible.  On top of all these events we will also be going skating on February 9th and doing a trip to Mission Ridge for some downhill skiing/snowboarding on February 12th.  As always keep an eye on the homework board for our daily work/assignments.
